2011 European Veterans Table Tennis Championships

By sending the application form for EVC 2011 applicant confirms his understaning and agreement with the Terms and Conditions:

1. Participation, Participant's Obligations

• Participant is obliged to fill the Registration Form truly and to deliver it to the organizer.
• Registration is valid only if accompanied by payment of the entry fee and required payments for ordered services.
• Organizer has the right to accept and not to accept applications. In case application will not be accepted all paid amounts connected with refused application will be refunded.
• Player is responsible for his (her) physical and mental fitness to compete in the championships.
• It is recommended that a routine check-up ahead of the EVC should be carried out by a doctor.
• Player is responsible for any necessary health and accident insurances.
• Player accepts the ITTF Anti-Doping Rules (see chapter 5 of the ITTF Handbook). In the event of a player being prescribed specific medication in connection with his general health from his Doctor, the said player must obtain the necessary written confirmation from his Doctor. In the event of a violation of these rules, the EVC Committee will decide about any sanctions.
• Player may use only approved and authorised equipment according to the valid list provided by ITTF.
• Player accepts the ITTF Gluing Regulations as a condition of participation. In the event of a violation of these regulations, the Referee will decide about any sanctions
• Player accept the guidelines, rules and regulations of the 2011 EVC.
• Player confirms that his (her) national table tennis association has no objection to participation at the 2011 EVC.
• Player is prepared to compete against any opponent regardless of nationality or religion.
• Player is obliged to compete at the time and table set by the Competition schedule. The player is responsible for keeping her/himself informed when and where to play. Player who fails to appear at the scheduled time will automatically lose the match, after a 5 minute waiting period.
• Player must sign the result of the score sheet after the match, before leaving the table.
• Player will be required to carry his (her) entry number attached to a sports shirt on his (her) back whilst playing matches.
• Drinking water is allowed at the same time as the “towelling down regulation”.
• No advertisement for alcoholic drinks and tobacco shall be worn by player in the playing halls.
• Player is entitled to a 5 minute rest between two matches, or at the table manager`s discretion.

2. Entry fees
Entries for players include:

• a) right to participate in competitions according to the event prospectus + starting number
• b) free entrance to the spectator areas
• c) shuttle transportation between the event venue and official hotels
• d) participant’s kit (event program and freebies from organizers and/or from event partners)

Entry for accompanying persons includes items b, + c, + d, of the player’s entry fee and free municipal transportation in Liberec.

Entry fees are described as follows:

• for valid applications received before March 31, 2011: player EUR 120 accompanying person: EUR 40
• later accepted applications subject to confirmation: player EUR 190 accompanying person: EUR 50

Entry fees cancellation conditions:

• Cancellation received by March 31, 2011: 50% of particular entry fee
• No refund of entries from April 1, 2011

Discounts:
Discount of EUR 10 from particular entry fee will be provided to each player if group applications of 50 and more players is received and paid from one single source.

3. EVC 2011 Participant PACKAGE (save up to EUR 80!)::
Discounted package of services includes entry fee, accommodation incl. buffet breakfast for 7 nights from Saturday June 18 till Saturday June 25 at the Hotel **** Babylon, entry ticket to the Players’ party on Friday June 24 and free entrance to the aquapark. The offer is valid until sellout.

Discounts:

4. Accommodation
Organizer offer guaranteed accommodation at the official EVC 2011 hotels. Basic offer is 7-nights stay from Saturday June 18, 2011.with the possibility to order extra nights before and after the event. Accommodation order is valid only if accompanied by payment.

All accommodation requests are handled on first-come first-served basis until sellout. Prices are scheduled at the hotel offer page. All rates include local taxes, VAT and services described at the organizer's offer.

Accommodation cancellation conditions:

• till October 31,.2010: full refund
• from November 1, 2010 till March 31, 2011: 30% of the price of cancelled accommodation
• from April 1, 2011: no refund

Important notice:
Organizer is not responsible neither for overcharged rates nor accommodation quality in case accommodation arrangement is not dealed by EVC 2011 organizer.

5. Other services
Purchased tickets for any scheduled program (sight-seeing, party) are not refundable.

6. Changes, order acceptance policy
Registration amendments are available upon confirming by the EVC 2011 Registration Office. Fee of EUR 5 may be charged per each confirmed amendment.

Online payment shall be made by a credit card. Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of the order or our offer to sell.

Organizer reserves the right, without prior notification, to accept or decline your order or limit the order quantity for any reason. For credit card payments, such payment is subject to the approval of the financial institution issuing the credit card and Organizer shall not be liable in any way if such financial institution refuses to accept or honor the credit card for any reason.

Organizer may require additional verification or information before accepting any order.
